Late last month, The Voice hosted Ra Ra Riot, an indie rock band from Syracuse, NY, at a private event where they were presented with our inaugural “Artist of the Month“ award.
Formed in 2006, the band’s second and latest album, titled “The Orchard,” was released last August, featuring a collaboration from Death Cab For Cutie’s Chris Walla and Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij. In January of this year, the band was nominated for The 10th Annual Independent Music Awards under the Pop/Rock Album category.

This Valentine’s Day, the editors of The Harvard Voice think about love. That four-letter-word is so simple, yet conjures up in our minds so many feelings, some good, some bad, some, we just can’t put a name to.

We invite you to read our interpretations of love in a series of feature articles under the headline: Modern Love, modeled after the popular New York Times column.
In What Is Love?, April Sperry realizes how lucky she is to have experienced that tingling sensation at Harvard not once, but multiple times.
Michelle Nguyen found the perfect guy and fell in love. Well, Almost.
In the third installment of this series, an Anonymous contributor talks about the best kind of love there is, the kind you have with Yourself.
Happy reading, and Happy Valentine’s Day!
