Voices!? What Voices?

Great news, Harvard! For the time being, it is safe to assume that the voices we hear walking through the Yard in our collectively sleep-deprived, midterm-frenzied states are, in fact, real.
As part of Harvard’s 375thAnniversary hoopla, excerpts of famous speeches given at the university in the past one hundred years will be playing on speakers placed in the trees of the Yard, a project entitled Harvard Voices*. Among the individuals whose dulcet tones will be gracing our ears are Bill Gates, Mother Teresa, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., e.e. Cummings, J.K. Rowling and the late Senator Edward Kennedy. The complete list of voices may be found here, and instructions to access all the speeches are at this link.
So next time you’re racing to get to Lit and Sex before all the seats in Sanders fill up, do take time to pause and revel in this shining exemplar of your extant sanity.
*Why yes, we do love this name.
