What’s better than students wearing costumes to class? What about professors showing their Housing Day spirit?
Professor Christakis shows that as Pfoho’s housing master, he’s willing to go all out – even to teach his Sociology 190: Life and Death in the US class in Pfoho’s mascot polar bear suit.
It also served as a period of self-discovery for Christakis who exclaimed in the middle of a slide about the harms of cigarette smoking, “Do I have a tail? I do have a tail!”
In the midst of all this stress, let’s all thank the houses for making our days a little more interesting. Click for more photos

There’s an elephant in the room. But really. The Eliot House elephant is making an appearance in Science Center B for USW23: Art and Thought of the Cold War He’s chillin’ and listening to lecture.
And oh look, there’s the Pfoho Polar Bear in Ec 10 lecture (silly bear, you’re too late for snow!).
Housing Day has apparently turned into Housing Week. It’s on. What’s next?

So far we’ve seen videos inspired by The Social Network, Inception, and The King’s Speech. Personally, I’d like to see the Oscar nominee parodies rounded out by one of The Black Swan. Possibly even Toy Story 3. Definite potential there.

We just received the video for Currier this year in which they said:
“Tired of self-promoting, self-conscious housing day videos, and especially housing day music videos? Check out one intrepid Currierite’s ultimate housing day video, featuring terrible editing, sparkles, muzak, retarded reporting and an ear-bleeding cover of Free Bird. Amidst all the terrible housing day videos being made comes a video that embraces the terrible.”
Was it everything you hoped for?
Note: This is not the “official” HoCo video, but rather one submitted on behalf of some Currier students to The Voice

So, that nearly covers everyone right? Still waiting on Cabot, Currier, Winthrop, and Kirkland. Who do you think has the best so far? The worst?

Eliot’s teaser isn’t just raising itself on a pedestal, it’s making things personal. Let the claws come out, y’all!
