Picture this scenario: It’s all sunny out and then BAM. It starts to pour. Every poor guy and girl around you is getting soaked. You, however, whip out your handy dandy umbrella(ella, ella). BAM! You’re dry. Ha!
The above scenario is great because it too, can happen to you. ENTER: Umbrella Today. A super simple website that sends you an email every morning of a day it is going to rain. Although it’s been a bit wonky sometimes, emailing me when the skies were clear for the entire day, it’s still a handy tool to sign up for, especially in the land of Cantabrigia in which the heavens can open up any second and pour buckets of H2O on you. Like today.
A few days ago, Washington, D.C. got hit by some major snowfall — some places reported up two feet of snow. According to the weather forecast, Boston is about to be hit by some major snowfall tonight too, possibly up to around a foot.
Do you know what this means? NO SCHOOL TOMORROW!!!! It means you can bundle up and have loads of fun trudging through the sludge tomorrow morning. Cheers.
P.S. Do you guys remember the movie Snow Day? Circa 2000?

Hey Californian froshies,
You might have noticed that the nights are getting colder.
No, Noice isn’t referring to your lack of a lover. We’re referring to the temperature. With lows hitting the 40′s and the imminent threat of bitter cold on the horizon, now is probably the time you start to regret turning down Stanford.
That’s especially true if you didn’t heed the warnings about the frozen pit that is Boston (“Last year at Harvard-Yale someone got frostbite.. Despite wearing two pairs of wool socks!” “I forgot to dry my hair once and it turned crispy when I walked outside!” etc). We understand. Cold is a pretty foreign concept when you’re used to just palm trees and sunshine.
Luckily, Noice is here to help you naive warm weather babies out, in case you forgot to buy a balaklava before shipping up.
