Everyone Is Doing It

Did you know that… even universities have Facebook fan pages? Uh, yeah. Does anyone else feel a little weird about this?

Given by the number of likes Harvard has, at least 35,430 other people did know that Harvard had a fan page. But hey, nice try for an amateur blog.

amateur blog? please. i’m sure yours is full of insight and gets as many hits as your mom.

  3. amateurish says:

Nope. This IS an amateur blog. Proof: ‘amateur’ is a Noice writer and won’t identify herself. Also, it publishes “not confirmed facts,” a.k.a. “things we’re too lazy to factcheck but are gonna publish anyway.” Oh, and to the user who pointed out the 35,430 number, bravo. Yet another piece of evidence to testify to the irrelevance of this blog.

But I will say, you guys put out a sweet mag.

  5. admin says:

    Hi amateurish,

First, the facts were not confirmed because they are difficult to confirm on any issue dealing with final clubs–they are very hesitant to speak with members of the press. Second, we would rather publish something with a disclaimer than publish it as fact. Rather than lazy reporting, we are merely attempting to honestly relay events we hear about from other students. Lastly, if you were to say that we are an amateur news source, you would be correct. However, this not a news source as The Crimson might be, but a blog.

In any case, thanks for reading our amateur blog!
